‘Citrus’ Yuri Manga Showcases Second Cover

2 min read

CitrusThe folks at Seven Seas Entertainment are definitely riding a high off their acquisition back in January of the yuri based Citrus manga and they’re now showing off the newly revealed second volume cover that will be hitting Japanese retailers next week. While some books reveal covers a good bit ahead of time, others do it a lot closer. Based on how Seven Seas Entertainment does most of their covers, we’re expecting that the North American releases will be pretty close, if not identical, to what we’re seeing here outside of a few minor logo changes.

The series comes from Saburouta and began in Japan in the fall of 2012. Saburouta has a few titles under their belt including AKB0048 Heart-Gata Operation and Yuri Hime Wildrose, which ran for seven volumes before finishing this year.

Seven Seas Entertainment has the first volume of this new series lined up for release on December 16th, 2014 that will be priced at $13.99 for the 180 pages it runs.

Plot concept: Fashionable Yuzu imagined the first day at her new school she transferred to after her mother’s remarriage a bit differently; she didn’t know it’d be an ultra-strict and conservative girls’ school. So instead of a sweet high-school romance, she butts heads with the stern student council president Mei – who turns out to be her new step sister. And she has to learn that hate and attraction are often not that far apart.
