Oscar Weekend – What’s Your Picks?

4 min read

The OscarsWhile a whole lot of people ignore the Oscars as just a lot of back patting and other such silliness, there is always something about recognition of ones work that helps to propel creative folks along. And there’s also the fact that in a lot of ways, the Oscars provide some balance against judging a movie solely by its box office receipts, which is important since quality does not mean quantity. This year has a lot of very strong films across the board up for nominations so we want to know who you want to see win. We’ve got the list below and what we’re doing is putting what we want to win in green for each category. I haven’t seen everything that came out unfortunately, but I’ve seen a lot and being a big movie fan am looking forward to seeing what the event brings.
