Tonari no Seki-kun Episode 1
Take Cover: Winter 2014 Has Arrived

Three years ago, the largest provider of anime simulcasts, Crunchyroll, featured 15 shows for the Winter 2011 season.

For this Winter 2014 season the service will stream 49. FUNimation pitches in with eight more distinct titles.

The General Anime forum of The Fandom Post currently hosts discussion threads for at least 41 of these shows.

In the following pages, spreading over the tidal wave of new and returning shows from the past week of premiers, you will arguably find the most comprehensive impression of the new season available in one place: 21 new shows, as well as four titles carrying over from last season with their second cour premieres. Plus a curious look at the second episode of the controversial, Recently, My Sister is Unusual. And what may as well be a bonus inclusion of old standby, Space Brothers, kicking off its 8th cour, as well as, of course, that reliable discussion vortex from last season, Log Horizon.

Given the selection, a “table of contents” is in order below. Enjoy!
