We’ve had site updates and key visual pieces revealed recently for the Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! second season which will premiere on January 9th in Japan. Now we’re getting our first look at the first commercial for the series which, sadly is just in 360p from the official Kyoto Animation channel and is a real travesty, but it gives some quick hints of what’s to come. The first series ran in the fall of 2012 and has been picked up by Sentai Filmworks for release and it’s expected we’ll see the same route for the second season once the show gets closer to its premiere.
Series concept: Yuuta Togashi suffered from chuunibyou while he was in middle school. When he graduated, he put that dark history behind him and forgot about it… or he was supposed to. High school was smooth sailing and full of enjoyment—until the unavoidable, sad event occurs. The event that locks Yuuta into a contract with Rikka Takanashi and disrupts his desperately ordinary life.
