Kyoto Animation is certainly looking to have some with Beyond the Boundary as they’ve debuted the first short for the series that clocks in at seven minutes. Titled Kyōkai no Kanata: Idol Saiban! ~Mayoi Nagara mo Kimi o Sabaku Tami~ (Beyond the Boundary: Idol Trial! ~Even as You Waver, The Nation Judges You~, we get to have a lot of fun with the superdeformed cast of characters here as our lead character of Akihito is being put on trial by the gang for being “gross”, according to the translation at ANN. Kyoto Animation has plans for three of these total and the next one is scheduled for release on December 2nd for streaming.
