‘Samurai Flamenco Another Days’ Manga Scheduled

It’s not rare for an original anime series to get a companion manga series to run alongside it and most tend to run two or three volumes at most as they largely adapt, tweak and veer slightly from the original animation work. The October noitaminA series Samurai Flamenco is getting that treatment with the first chapter of the manga adaptation Samurai Flamenco Another Days, which will debut in G Fantasy on October 18th in Japan. The series, which gets a color page, is going the fully original route as it brings about a new story that won’t be in the main anime series that Manglobe is working on. The new work here will be written by Seiko Takagi with artwork by Sho Mizusawa.

Plot concept: Male model Masayoshi Hazama decides to become a superhero, despite having no superpowers or the technology to create a high-powered suit. He becomes the hero, Samurai Flamenco and begins to fight crime in the name of justice. Police officer Hidenori Goto finds out about Samurai Flamenco and his real identity by a twist of fate, which leads to him getting involve into lots of trouble. Nonetheless, these two young men will come face to face with hardships of being crime-fighters while discovering what it truly means to be a hero of justice.
