Recorder And Randsell Mi Episode 9
When everyone shows up at a maze, it’s not going to go well considering the perversions involved here.

What They Say:
On the surface it seems as if Atsushi is an adult, but really he’s just an elementary student! However, he is paired with a second-year high school student Atsumi, whose height is just the opposite of his. These two together create an unusual relationship and will undoubtedly instigate some comedic antics in this slice of life comedy!

As the high school gang heads out for a bit of fun with a horror maze attraction, it takes a turn for the worse early on for Atsushi and Sayo as Yoshioka shows up looking for young girls to hang out with when Sayo just wants to spend time with Atsushi. Of course, throwing a little more chaos to the mix is Atsushi showing up with Hina that anoys Sayo and causes the configuration of people going through the maze to be all messed up and having all sorts of tensions come to the surface. Add Take into the mix and it’s like they’re throwing as many characters into the episode as possible, even for a moment or two, and it just comes across as a silly mess.

In Summary:
While this season has been surprisingly solid and enjoyable compared to the first two seasons, this feels like it’s the first episode to let me down a little. Bringing everyone in together is certainly fun, but with a three minute runtime – credits included – it’s just a mashup of people without too much in the way of even minor story. We get a lot of quick gags, movement and silliness and it is all decently fun and makes you smile since there are so many tight connections here, but it also just feels more rushed and less focused than usual.
