Is ‘Alice in the Country Of…’ Manga The Best Manga Series You’re Not Reading?

Sometimes when you see how things shake out and you’ve had little involvement in it, you just have to wonder what you’re missing. Such is the case with Seven Seas Entertainment, who having picked up the first volumes that TOKYOPOP released before going out of the publishing business, has run with the expansive Alice in the Country of… series of manga books from QuinRose. The company has announced the pickup of four more volumes of the franchise with:

• Alice in the Country of Clover: Nightmare
• Alice in the Country of Clover: March’s Hare
• Alice in the Country of Hearts: Love Labyrinth of Thorns
• Alice in the Country of Clover: Knight’s Knowledge Vol. 1

The publisher has brought out several various releases from the franchise so far (you can see a few of our reviews here) and they’ve also now set a publication schedule for the franchise where there’s basically a new book each month across the various titles

In addition, Seven Seas will begin releasing the Alice in the Country of… series monthly using the following schedule: starting in August through July of next year. Which begs the question, what are you missing if you’re not reading these books since there is such a demand and fan base for Seven Seas Entertainment to do this?
