The CW probably has me watching more dramas on their network than any other with The 100, Flash, Arrow and the upcoming midseason series iZombie. With the network starting up its new year material on Monday, January 19th, they’ve got plenty of returning shows that are quite popular, such as Flash and Arrow of course, but also another comic book series that has gotten very little play in general since it is a midseason series. Picked up seemingly an age ago, we get a few flashes of Rose McIver here as the lead character in the series iZombie. While it’s an expected name to be used at some point, since it ties the whole Apple/internet naming thing along with the general popularity of zombie shows, it also diverges from the comic series a good bit as well to be its own thing.
Of course, there’s no actual premiere date for iZombie yet, which complicates things in advertising it like this.
