It’s been a long and difficult casting process – never mind finding a director that would stick around – but now The Crow has found its lead in Luke Evans, who is in the upcoming films Dracula, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Fast & Furious 6. Evans was one of many names that came up in the last few months, after a couple of years worth of supposed casting potentials were paraded through, but now director F. Javier Gutierrez has gotten who he wanted originally. Evans was his top pick from the start but was committed to other films, but because of other delays for The Crow, the timing now works out for him to take on the lead.
