‘Fate/Zero’ Anime Getting Dub, Neon Alley Broadcast

2 min read

Fate Zero

Aniplex USA made the announcement today via a trailer (see below) that Fate/Zero will be getting dubbed in English and will be premiering on the linear network Neon Alley in the near future. No dates are given at this time or what kind of schedule it will have on the service that’s currently available to those that have gaming consoles.

Fate/Zero serves as the prequel for the Fate/Stay Night series and was simulcast by Crunchyroll in North America. Aniplex Japan released the series in import form on Blu-ray. With the dub now produced for this series, a domestic home video release seems even more likely sometime in 2013 as well, though formats could be where it gets a bit trickier. Check out the dub cast below and give the trailer a listen as it showcases the symbols of many of the characters and has them providing a narration before it goes all out.

Fate Zero Cast

Plot Concept: The story starts from zero: the beginning…

The Holy Grail War – in this ultimate battle field, in order to obtain the power of the “Holy Grail” that grants any unattainable wish, seven “masters” summon “servants” and fight against each other until the last one survives.

After three inconclusive Holy Grail Wars, the fourth battle has finally started. Hoping to win the battle, each master is heading to the new battlefield, Fuyuki. However, there is a man who is confused and struggling, unable to find meaning in the war. His name is Kirei Kotomine. He wonders why he has been appointed to this task, but without any answers, he encounters his archrival – Kiritsugu Emiya, a master who craves the miracle Holy Grail most of all.

The untold truth of the Fourth Holy Grail War that occurred 10 years before Fate/Stay Night – the truth of the battle fought by Shiro’s adopted father, Rin’s father, and young Kirei Kotomine – is about to be revealed!
