After the fun of losing power before, having an episode that kicks off with a powerful storm makes you wonder if they’ll do more of the same. But just having some like Yurume enjoy the power of a storm is a lot of fun itself, even if someone is playing the drums a bit to raise the impact of it all. She has a tendency to take things in unusual directions as you’d expect. Thankfully, Sae and her sister get involved as well which leads to some cute fun that involves said little sister getting tormented. Matsukichi again saves the day, though they have to put up with his oddities, since he thinks the drum means they’re starting a band. Having friends together amidst a storm is always fun though this group takes things a little too far with the intensity of it all.
In Summary:
The series hits some good, quick gags here and while it uses the storm as the backdrop for things, it isn’t the main focus. With all of the characters showing up by the end, it hits the quick gags hard and fast and lets their quirks all come out. It’s not a group that I’d have over during a storm though considering how they act, but they’re fun to watch.
