‘Cardfight! Vanguard’ Anime Gets English Language Dub, YouTube Distribution

2 min read

With the Cardfight! Vanguard trading card game system making some inroads in the US, it’s not a surprise that Bushiroad is attempting to get more play out of the system. The series had its first season simulcast through Crunchyroll with sixty-five episodes airing in that format. This past April saw the start of the second season of sixty-five episodes but it didn’t get a simulcast pickup. What’s happened recently though is that Bushiroad has gotten the first season started on dubbing as they brought in the Ocean Group to produce it using Blue Water Studios to handle the dub itself. The series has now had its first twelve episodes dubbed available all the way up to 1080p in YouTube.

The days pass by, and because of that part of his personality, he doesn’t make many friends. But Aichi has one thing which supports him. A single card he got when he was little named “Blaster Blade”. It’s actually a very valuable card from the card game that is sweeping the world in popularity named “Vanguard”. But one day, a loud and violent classmate of his named Morikawa steals the card from him by force..
