The dangers of letting a child dress himself may not seem like much to someone without children, but having watched the bizarre things that kids can come up with can certainly make you scared. Even more so when dealing with someone like Atsushi who has much more access to unusual clothes as a child in an adults body. With Atsumi down for the count and telling him to do it himself, he comes up with one of the worst things he can wear to school, not only because its inappropriate in general but because it gets his teacher all hot and bothered and confused. Amusingly, the other kids are just curious about it all and have a kind of naive simplicity in how they deal with it. And like a lot of kids, monkey see and monkey do, so it can certainly cause a lot of other problems as well…
In Summary:
There’s not much in the way of real surprises here as a parent as what Atsushi found is definitely what I can imagine him picking up. The question is why is it even in the house at all, but that’s not a question to really get asked or dealt with. The school side of it is cute as it unfolds and seeing how the other students and the teacher react is about right, though I can imagine some of the kids being much snarkier about it. And of course, we get the police angle as well, but that was expected since we hadn’t had it for awhile. The cute moments are definitely here, but the whole thing still just feels weirdly uncomfortable.
