Friday’s look like they’ll have a few more shows this year than they did last year as Crunchyroll has added new show to the 12 PM slot with Upotte!!. The series is a military comedy based on the manga by Kitsune Tennouji. This isn’t a TV broadcast being simulcast though but an ONA, or Original Net Animation. The series will be available to users in North America, South America, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
Plot Concept: A teacher who has just transferred into Seishou Academy soon finds himself in the hospital. This is not surprising, considering his students are assault rifles! Kitsune Tennouji of EDEN’S BOY fame returns after 16 years with a surprising military comedy featuring attractive girls who are actually anthropomorphized guns! The girls are given special characteristics and personalities to match their gun types, and they spend their school days with a firearm in one hand, running rampant and occasionally shooting a boost of energy into their school life!
