When you have a show that barely runs three minutes, it’s a bit easier to greenlight a second season if the ratings are even close to acceptable. News has surfaced that a second season of Recorder and Randsell is in the works as the short for comedy adapted from the manga of the same name by Meme Higashiya with Dream Creation once again producing and the anime studio Seven animating it under the title Recorder and Randsell Re. The new season will follow seamlessly behind the existing season with a debut set for March 28th, 2012. Crunchyroll is currently simulcasting the first season on Thursday’s.
Plot Concept: It follows the lives of two siblings; Atsushi, an elementary school boy with the appearance of an adult, and Atsumi, a high school girl with the appearance of a young child.
