The fall season is almost upon us as the last run of episodes for various summer series get closer to hitting and news about what’s coming in October is getting stronger. One of the newest pieces to come out is a detailed look at the staff and cast behind the anime adaptation of the manga series Future Diary, known as Mirai Nikki in Japan. The manga, which ended its run after twelve volumes just this past December, is started to start on October 9th with asread handling the animation for it.
Plot concept: Yukiteru is a quiet boy who spends most of his time typing on his cell phone diary. One morning he realizes that the entries in his diary are from the future! But according to what his cell phone tells him, waiting in the near future is his death. Unknown to him, Yukiteru has been dragged into a battle of survival involving cell phones that tell the future. With a shady girl named Yuno, who may be friend or foe, at his side, Yukiteru must face 12 opponents who all posses Future Diaries.
