Golgo 13 Will Get More Sentai Filmworks Releases

2 min read

After the first two collections were released in July and September of 2010, things went quiet with Sentai Filmworks and their release of Golgo 13. Word came down that all that they were going to do was done via the voice actor circuit, but Sentai never truly confirmed anything themselves on it. With those two releases covering only the first half of the series, and being bilingual right out of the gate which was a surprise when the license was announced, fans figured that it was the end for more of their favorite assassin. That, however, is not the case as the question came up to Sentai’s David Williams at Kawaii Kon this weekend and fans of the show have something to look forward to:

Confirmed w/ Williams: More Golgo 13 IS coming from Sentai. ETA unknown; materials have been delayed due to disaster aftermath.

Plot summary: His targets never see it coming and he’s never caught. If there is a witness to the kill, that poor SOB winds up dead too. People say he’s a ghost. A machine. A monster. He’s Golgo 13, the most feared assassin in the world, the professional’s professional, the killer of killers. And now he’s back with 13 targeted missions that will keep you glued to the screen (and away from the windows).
