Marvel Comics is set to roll out it’s latest incarnation of Hercules with the first issue of Herc to arrive come April 6th of this year. This new series is being written by Greg Pak & Fred Van Lente with artwork by Neil Edwards. Edwards just collaborated with Van Lente on the Captain America: First Vengeance comic series as well. Interestingly, this new series is occurring in the midst of the Fear Itself storyline so it has ties to that as well rather than just starting off on its own.
Story concept: Hercules has a new mission and a new code: take out the worst of the worst still walking the streets of the Marvel Universe…and always bring the big guns! But who’s first up on Herc’s hit list? And just what mythological weapons has he secreted away from the Ares’ personal arsenal to enact his revenge?
